How AOD-9604 is dosed in practice
Usually taken by subcutaneous (SubQ) injection. Typical range: 200–300 mcg/day. Half-life: Not established in humans. Each card gives the dose, frequency and duration from one evidence lane: Clinical (human trials), Expert (practitioner protocols) or Experimental (early or animal data). These ranges describe what has been studied or used; they are not a prescription.
Work out the units to draw with the reconstitution calculator, how long a vial lasts with the vial duration calculator, and how levels fall between doses with the half-life calculator.
Six randomized placebo-controlled trials (reported together in 2013) gave AOD-9604 by mouth or as single IV doses; it was well tolerated and did not raise IGF-1 or worsen glucose tolerance. The 24-week Phase 2b obesity trial did not support further development. No human trial of SubQ dosing has been published.
