BPC-157
Body Protection Compound-157
A 15-amino-acid synthetic peptide derived from a stable gastric protein. Widely used in practitioner protocols for tendon, ligament, and gut healing — with documented effects on angiogenesis, fibroblast proliferation, and growth-hormone receptor upregulation.
TB-500
Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-500)
A synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally-occurring 43-amino-acid peptide. Drives cell migration, actin binding, and anti-fibrotic effects — making it the canonical synergy partner for BPC-157 in soft-tissue, ACL, and rotator-cuff recovery protocols.
GHK-Cu
Copper Tripeptide-1 (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine + Copper)
A naturally-occurring tripeptide-copper complex with documented effects on collagen and elastin production, anti-inflammatory cytokine modulation (IL-6, TNF-α), and hair-follicle stimulation. Used both subcutaneously for systemic effect and topically for localized skin / hair applications.
CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin
GHRH analog + Ghrelin-receptor agonist (synergy stack)
A two-peptide stack that pulses growth hormone release without disturbing endogenous feedback loops. CJC-1295 (a GHRH analog) extends the natural GH pulse window; Ipamorelin (a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist) amplifies pulse height without triggering cortisol or prolactin spikes. Standard protocol for IGF-1 elevation, sleep architecture, and lean-mass support.
Semaglutide
GLP-1 receptor agonist (Ozempic, Wegovy)
A long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist with a 168-hour half-life supporting weekly dosing. FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes (Ozempic) and chronic weight management (Wegovy). Drives appetite suppression via central GLP-1 receptor activity, delays gastric emptying, and improves insulin sensitivity. Standard protocol uses gradual 16-week titration to minimize GI side effects.
Tirzepatide
GLP-1 + GIP dual receptor agonist (Mounjaro, Zepbound)
A first-in-class dual GLP-1 + GIP receptor agonist with substantially greater weight-loss efficacy than Semaglutide. FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes (Mounjaro, 2022) and chronic weight management (Zepbound, 2023). The GIP arm partitions nutrients toward muscle and improves insulin sensitivity beyond GLP-1 alone. Standard protocol uses 20-week titration.
Retatrutide
GLP-1 + GIP + Glucagon triple receptor agonist (Eli Lilly LY3437943)
A first-in-class triple agonist hitting GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. The glucagon arm forces direct hepatic fat oxidation — making Retatrutide the most powerful weight-loss peptide currently in clinical trials. Phase III TRIUMPH program is ongoing; not yet FDA-approved. Practitioner usage requires careful titration due to amplified GI side effects.
MK-677
Ibutamoren — orally-active ghrelin receptor agonist
An orally-active ghrelin receptor agonist developed by Merck. Drives GH pulse amplification and IGF-1 elevation similar to Ipamorelin but with a different convenience profile — daily oral pill instead of injection. Trade-off: pronounced hunger increase and water retention vs the injectable peptide alternatives.
MOTS-c
Mitochondrial-Derived Peptide (16-amino acid)
A 16-amino-acid peptide encoded within the mitochondrial genome — one of the few peptides actually produced by mitochondria themselves. Drives AMPK activation, GLUT4 translocation, and mitochondrial biogenesis. The most-cited compound for amplifying GLP-1 fat-loss protocols by directly improving cellular energy metabolism.
Sermorelin
GHRH (1-29) — recombinant growth hormone releasing hormone analog
A 29-amino-acid recombinant peptide identical to the bioactive fragment of natural GHRH. The original FDA-approved GHRH analog (Geref, 1997). Drives natural GH pulse via pituitary stimulation. Shorter half-life than CJC-1295 means less single-dose efficacy, but cleaner endocrine profile and longer track record.
Tesamorelin
GHRH (1-44) analog — Egrifta
A 44-amino-acid GHRH analog FDA-approved (as Egrifta) for HIV-related lipodystrophy. Off-label use centers on visceral fat reduction — Tesamorelin is the only GHRH analog with documented preferential visceral adipose loss in clinical trials (-15-18% at 6 months). Daily dosing required due to short half-life.
Liraglutide
GLP-1 receptor agonist (Saxenda, Victoza)
The first daily-dose GLP-1 receptor agonist to gain FDA approval (Victoza for T2D in 2010, Saxenda for weight management in 2014). Now superseded by weekly Semaglutide and Tirzepatide for most patients, but remains relevant for users who titrate slowly, need adjustable daily dosing, or have insurance preference. -8% bodyweight average vs Semaglutide's -15% at peak doses.
Thymosin Alpha-1
TA-1 — 28-amino-acid immunomodulator (Zadaxin)
A 28-amino-acid synthetic version of natural thymosin alpha-1, originally isolated from thymic tissue. Drives T-cell maturation, NK cell activation, and dendritic cell modulation. FDA-approved as Zadaxin in 30+ countries (not US) for chronic Hepatitis B/C. Off-label use centers on post-viral recovery, autoimmune modulation, and immunosenescence.
Epitalon
Epithalon — synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly)
A synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) developed at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. The most-studied peptide for telomerase activation and pineal regulation, with multi-decade Russian gerontology research showing extended lifespan in animal models and improved aging biomarkers in humans. Cycled 2× yearly in standard longevity protocols.
Selank
TP-7 — synthetic heptapeptide (anxiolytic nootropic)
A 7-amino-acid synthetic peptide developed at the Russian Institute of Molecular Genetics. Acts as a non-sedating anxiolytic with cognitive-enhancement properties — modulates GABAergic and serotonergic pathways while upregulating BDNF. Distinct from benzodiazepines: no sedation, no addiction potential, no withdrawal. Approved for medical use in Russia; off-label elsewhere.
Semax
ACTH (4-10) analog — synthetic heptapeptide (nootropic)
A 7-amino-acid synthetic peptide derived from ACTH (4-10), developed in Russia for neuroprotection and cognitive enhancement. Drives BDNF and NGF upregulation, modulates dopaminergic and serotonergic pathways, and reduces neuroinflammation. Approved in Russia for stroke recovery, ADHD, and cognitive disorders. Off-label elsewhere for cognition and post-concussion contexts.
DSIP
Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide — 9-amino-acid neuropeptide
A 9-amino-acid neuropeptide originally isolated from rabbit brain in the 1970s — named for its observed effect on EEG delta-wave sleep induction. Modulates cortisol release patterns and supports deep sleep architecture. Practitioner use centers on insomnia, shift-work sleep disruption, and recovery contexts.
