How GHRP-6 is dosed in practice
Usually taken by subcutaneous (SubQ) injection. Typical range: 100–300 mcg per dose. Half-life: ~15–60 minutes. Each card gives the dose, frequency and duration from one evidence lane: Clinical (human trials), Expert (practitioner protocols) or Experimental (early or animal data). These ranges describe what has been studied or used; they are not a prescription.
Work out the units to draw with the reconstitution calculator, how long a vial lasts with the vial duration calculator, and how levels fall between doses with the half-life calculator.
Human GHRP-6 studies are mainly single IV doses used to test GH release or measure pharmacokinetics (half-life about 2.5 hours). A Phase 3 stroke trial (2026) gave 5 mg IV twice daily with EGF for 7 days and missed its primary endpoint. Repeated SubQ use appears only in a small retrospective review (2017) of a three-peptide combination.

Often replaced by Ipamorelin in modern protocols due to hunger side effect. Still used in bulking cycles where appetite stimulation is desired. Stack with CJC-1295 for synergy.

GHRP-6: common questions
What is GHRP-6?
A first-generation growth hormone releasing peptide that stimulates GH secretion via ghrelin receptors. Strong GH pulse stimulation with notable hunger increase as primary side effect.
How is GHRP-6 dosed?
GHRP-6 is usually taken by subcutaneous (SubQ) injection. Typical range in DoseCraft's library: 100–300 mcg per dose. Clinical (human trials), intravenously (IV): 1 mcg/kg IV single dose (GH testing); 100–400 mcg/kg IV single doses (pharmacokinetics); 5 mg IV twice daily with EGF (stroke trial); Single doses; twice daily in the stroke trial; Single dose to 7 days. Expert (practitioner protocols): 100–300 mcg per dose SubQ; 3x daily; 4–12 week cycles, then 4 weeks off. These ranges describe what has been studied or used; they are not a prescription.
Is GHRP-6 FDA-approved?
No. GHRP-6 is not approved by the FDA for any use in people.
What is the half-life of GHRP-6?
DoseCraft's library lists a half-life of ~15–60 minutes. Half-life sets how often a compound is dosed and how long it takes to clear: about five half-lives.
Who should not use GHRP-6?
Listed contraindications: Active cancer or tumor history; Diabetes mellitus (monitor closely).
