PEG-MGF

PEGylated Mechano Growth Factor / PEGylated IGF-1Ec

A PEGylated (polyethylene glycol-conjugated) version of Mechano Growth Factor that dramatically extends the half-life from minutes to days. Unlike native MGF which requires site-specific intramuscular injection, PEG-MGF can be injected subcutaneously for systemic distribution. Activates satellite cells throughout the body for whole-body muscle repair and growth.

Evidence Overview

Strength of evidence across clinical, expert, and experimental lanes.

How PEG-MGF is dosed in practice

Usually taken by subcutaneous (SubQ) injection. Typical range: 200 mcg 2–3x/week. Half-life: Several days (PEGylation extends half-life). Each card gives the dose, frequency and duration from one evidence lane: Clinical (human trials), Expert (practitioner protocols) or Experimental (early or animal data). These ranges describe what has been studied or used; they are not a prescription.

Work out the units to draw with the reconstitution calculator, how long a vial lasts with the vial duration calculator, and how levels fall between doses with the half-life calculator.

experimental35% confidence

Preferred over native MGF in the biohacking community due to convenience of SubQ injection and longer half-life. Users report systemic muscle fullness, accelerated recovery, and enhanced response to training. Best used on rest days since training naturally produces endogenous MGF. Quality and purity vary significantly between vendors.

PEG-MGF: common questions

What is PEG-MGF?

A PEGylated (polyethylene glycol-conjugated) version of Mechano Growth Factor that dramatically extends the half-life from minutes to days. Unlike native MGF which requires site-specific intramuscular injection, PEG-MGF can be injected subcutaneously for systemic distribution. Activates satellite cells throughout the body for whole-body muscle repair and growth.

How is PEG-MGF dosed?

PEG-MGF is usually taken by subcutaneous (SubQ) injection. Typical range in DoseCraft's library: 200 mcg 2–3x/week. Experimental (early or animal data): 200 mcg 2–3x per week (SubQ); 2–3x weekly on rest days; 4–6 week cycles. These ranges describe what has been studied or used; they are not a prescription.

Is PEG-MGF FDA-approved?

No. PEG-MGF is not approved by the FDA for any use in people.

What is the half-life of PEG-MGF?

DoseCraft's library lists a half-life of Several days (PEGylation extends half-life). Half-life sets how often a compound is dosed and how long it takes to clear: about five half-lives.

Who should not use PEG-MGF?

Listed contraindications: Cancer history (IGF-1 pathway stimulation); Pregnancy or breastfeeding; Known PEG allergy.
